Exciting news – our Jungle VIP Auction has raised a big fat £10,875! The grand total was reached through the sale of auction items, our 96.4% Orangutan t-shirts (which you can still buy – hurrah) and donations (which you can still make – double hurrah). A huge thank you to everyone who got involved.
“Our fundraising target was £10,000, so to raise even more is fantastic,” says Helen Buckland, UK Director of SOS. “We hope the auction has also helped increase awareness about this important cause – the number of orangutans has plummeted so they need our help more urgently than ever.”
The Jungle VIP Auction was supported by numerous celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Chris Evans, Tim Minchin, Nicola Roberts, Jane Asher and Radiohead.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported the auction and helped spread the word.
